Danzo REP joins forces with Wild Africa and OAS1SONE and over 100 African singer-songwriters in a historic first-ever a world tour series of Music for Wildlife Concerts, to lend their voices in support of wildlife conservation, raise awareness for climate change and plastics pollution, and have their messaging, voices, music and live performances broadcast across several Pan African and global television, radio and streaming platforms.
Danzo REP (real name Denzel Daniel) is a versatile South African rapper, producer, graphic designer, and animator from Soweto, making waves in the hip-hop scene. His music uniquely blends traditional South African sounds with hip-hop elements, incorporating local instruments and rhythms to create an authentic sound. His lyrics address social issues, personal experiences, and life in Soweto. Danzo has released several singles and projects, collaborating with local artists, earning positive reviews and a dedicated following. His skills extend to production, creating beats for himself and others, and visual arts, designing vibrant, culturally infused content for his music projects.
Known for his collaborative spirit, Danzo REP works with various artists and producers to foster a supportive community within the South African music scene. He is also actively involved in community initiatives, using his platform to inspire and empower Soweto's youth through workshops and mentorship. Continuously evolving, Danzo experiments with new sounds and has several exciting projects underway, including new music and visual art. It promotes and directly supports local wildlife programs from offices in Cape Town, Lagos, Harare and Kigali and is running the programs previously under WildAid in South Africa, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
